When we followed Gerald and Winnie to the majestic countryside in the Southern Alps of New Zealand last December, we witnessed more than just the island’s romantic landscapes and beautiful rolling hillsides. We saw how two people can come together to explore new grounds, create new beginnings and reach new heights.

We used to be two separate individuals, but now our journey is intricately wound as one. We’ve learnt so much more about ourselves and each other.
— Gerald
I love to explore new places and ideas. I love seeing differences in places, and how places and people change with time. It helps me learn about myself and others too. Exploration is an innate human desire and i think deep inside us, we all want to reach a higher ground.
— Winnie

Love in Hitting Pause: Ryan & Sara

As our nation goes into Week 4 of #CircuitBreaker and after reading reports from other countries going through lockdowns - what shocked us was how many divorces were emerging just because couples were spending extended time together under one roof.

For Ryan and Sara, they hit a huge obstacle a year into their relationship and went on a one month's break. It was in this time that they saw not just the speck in each other's eye but also the plank in their own eye. In this brokenness, they found that they were embraced, and that they could love. As iron sharpens iron, Ryan and Sara emerged from this one month's break, stronger and surer than ever before.

The month’s break served as a signpost, that from that point on, we could look forward together - no turning back.

Uncertain and trying times help us return to the things that truly matter, and it always brings us back to relationships. For everyone who's reading this, just like what Ryan and Sara went through - may this month's break be that signpost for you, that no matter how COVID-19 pans out, home will be a safe place where you embrace each other’s weaknesses, where harsh words are exchanged for gentle ones, and where you can love each other deeper, now more than ever.

If you're like us - you see beauty in not just the soaring highs but also the defining lows in the relationship, and you want these memories to be captured - write to us! We promise to tell your story, in a way that's uniquely you.
